How To Book Your Wedding Hair & Make-Up

If you have decided to book me for your wedding day, Thank you - I expect you are wondering what to do now…

First Things First

Firstly, you may want to check if I am still available for your wedding date by either emailing or calling me on the details given in my contact page.

Complete the Booking Form & Send Your Deposit

Before...

Once we have confirmed this I will need you to download and print off the Wedding Booking Form, filling in as much as you are able to (whatever you can’t we can complete at your trial). Next post to me at the given address including your £50 deposit. When I have received this I will send your confirmation and depending on how far in advance you have booked, will either contact you right away or a few months before your wedding to set up a date for your trial-you will probably have given me an indication of when you would like it on your booking form. I can be contacted at any time from your initial booking, up to and after your wedding day. You may need to update me on things, send photos, ask me a question or just need some reassurance-I will always try to help you.

The Wedding Hair and Make Up Trial

Most brides come to me for their trials but I am able to travel to you if that’s easier. I am always happy for you to bring someone along-it will put you at ease and they will probably give you valuable advice on the different looks we try out-most importantly it should be a fun and relaxed session for you.

It is always handy if you can bring along anything that you will be using on your wedding day-it all helps, no matter how insignificant you think it may be! Your veil and tiara are a must but any photos/material swatches of your dress, jewellery you will be wearing, colour schemes you are using, make-up colours you normally use, pictures in magazines you have seen-anything extra can be a big help! If your bridesmaids aren’t going to be at your trial and they are going to be ‘done’, then a photo of them is great too.

Trials can take 2-3 hours, so please allow for this - I am happy to keep working till you are satisfied with how you look, I will then take photos and make a note of everything I have done, so I can recreate your chosen look on your big day.

The Week Before the Wedding

The week before the wedding I will call you just to check everything is okay and no last minute changes! I will then work out my time plan, which ensures everything runs smoothly.

The Big Day Arrives

The next time you see me will be (bright and early probably!) on your ‘big day’, when it is all systems go - time now to relax, enjoy yourself and have a glass of bubbly-In a few hours you will be married - Cheers!!
