About Caroline Kearney

My career in hair and beauty  began when I started working part-time in a salon from the age of 13. When I left school I studied Hairdressing, Make-up and Beauty Therapy at Guildford College in Surrey, after qualifying I went to work in a local salon and barbershop until 1993, when I moved to West Sussex and started out as a 'freelancer' - I have never looked back…

I am fortunate that my career has opened so many doors for me and has given me many new friends and opportunities.

Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with many brides and ‘prom queens’ - some of whom have become regular clients and friends. Most importantly together we make each occasion individual and special!

In addition to doing wedding hair and make-up, I am a freelance hairstylist and beauty therapist. As a state registered hairdresser and member of the Freelance Hair & Beauty Federation I am able to frequently go on courses which keep me ‘up to date’ - I was also the Sussex Regional Representative for the above Federation from 2005-2007.

In 2006 I did the make-up for a bridal party that was shown on Sky’s ‘Wedding’s Live 2’ and have worked for local bridal shops doing the wedding hair and make-up for photo shoots, websites and fashion shows. I have also written hair articles for magazines.
